Spring Flowers - (Kindergarten)

Patterns are traced to help with successful proportion and to maintain a circle shape.
Petals are rounded on the big flower and rectangular on the smaller one.

Tulips are drawn free hand, then comes stems and leaves. Once the flowers
are painted the background is sponge painted.

Barns in Perspective - (3rd grade)

Patterns help reduce frustration in drawing barn fronts. The pace of the lesson moves
smoothly and without delays with the use of patterns on difficult subjects.

We made the vanishing point.

No rulers were used.

We painted the landscape with small sponges and three color washes.
